CREATE ARCHIVES OF
DOCUMENTS WITH A

SEARCHABLE USER INTERFACE

With this module you are able to create archives of documents with a searchable user interface.
This is a great module to list and organize public documents such as white papers, issues, awards, etc.
Document and file Management system with integrated search and browse capability.
Supports unlimited categories and sub-categories. You can have as many as your server can handle. Virtually unlimited files per category.
The program offers two ways to navigate the records to find information; browsing and searching through an advanced search that includes many of the above fields. The advanced search result pages will render results in a paginated fashion with an option to further drill down results or group them by category.
Create unlimited number of search pages based on your own criteria.
Search Pages: Archives can be published to a web site using “zone” code in a special search script page.
Result pages use user-defined headers and footers for easy integration with existing web site designs.
When documents expire they are not displayed as part of the standard set of results unless the user requests to include them through the advanced search form.
The system allows the administrator to delete documents that have expired to release hard drive space.
Administrator is able to import document records from an external text comma delimited file with a built-in field-mapping feature.
If you have the ASPJpeg, or ASPImage component installed, WebArchive will be able to create thumbnails of your JPG, BMP and PNG files on the fly. However, WebArchive will work without it; no image component is required.
Supports all kinds of files, not just PDF’s. You can have image galleries, video galleries, audio collections, office documents, Flash, and PDF’s. WebArchive is a complete web based digital assets administration system.
Favorite Files Feature: users can mark their favorite files and have them sent to their e-mail addresses. Plus you can keep a log of the e-mail addresses entered.
Public Uploading: You can set whether or not your users can upload files to the archive, you can even set which categories will allow public uploading, the files that can be uploaded, and even maximum file size. This is a great feature for member’s only archives.
File Status: You can set your files as approved, pending or not approved to control which files show up on your archive.
Images and files can be uploaded via FTP or from within the application. Also, WebArchive comes with its own upload script.
Change the look and style of your archive with CSS.
Powerful navigation system: users can view your archives by browsing through your categories or by using the integrated search engine system.
Lots of data fields to describe your file: provide keywords, descriptions, credits, URL’s and E-mails to describe your files, you can even embed HTML code.
Default thumbnails: if a file doesn’t have an assigned thumbnail, a default thumbnail is displayed detailing the file type.
Hit Tracking and Rating System: the system keeps a record of the number of hits that each file receives, plus users can rate your files.
Option to disable ‘right-clicking’ on images to prevent users from copying your files.
Integrates with other WebModules.
